Here's a college basketball bonanza from the 1980s qnd 1990s...
This is a lot of three Stanford University Cardinal men's basketball publications. You'll get the media guides for the 1990-1991 and 1999-2000 seasons and the official game day program for the 1986-1987 campaign.
The Cardinal were making noise in the Pac 10 under Coach Mike Montgomery who arrived at Maples Pavilion in 1986. That first team finished 15-13. The '90-'91 squad was 20-13 and captured the NIT title in New York at season's end. The 1999-2000 club finished 27-4 and was ranked third in the final AP poll, before being upset by UNC in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
Prepared by Stanford's sports information staff for boosters, recruits and reporters covering the team, the media guides include everything you need to know about men's basketball on The Farm. The 1986-87 game program (it was updated for each contest during the year) contains the same bios and pictures you'd expect in a guide. There's information on the coaches and support staff as well as photos and profiles of the all the players. You'll also find a records and history section and previews of Stanford's opponents, a cross-section of college basketball in the Pac 10 and environs back in the day.
The guides as the scans show are in prime condition - see the statement above - and will make a terrific gift for any college hoop fans and especially for any Stanford alum.
