Up for auction is set of

Shimano SL-MS55    3 x 6  speed thumb shifters. LH and RH matched shifter pair.

In very good used condition and I believe these came off my 1988 Koga Miyata Adventure bicycle. 

Appear to have seen very little ride time due to the very pristine components and 

         overall appearance of this Miyata. 

From a dry climate. Some slight fading to the top covers though chrome is excellent and rubber shifter covers are amazing.

These would be the model under the top of the line ( at the time ) Shimano XT group so in essence deore / Dx . 

With some filing and longer bolts, I know the Rivendell crew has modified these types of shifter mounts to be used on 

road /gravel drop bars which have a greater diameter as opposed to the more robust XT shifter mounts do not allow for this 

potential modification. 

 

 

 

These are friction or indexed / SIS shifting on the RH and LH 3 speed is friction.
