These Barley Pellets are a great eco-friendly, clean and effective alternative to traditional barley straw bales for cleaning your pond water...

The pellets are contained within a micro-mesh banded bag, which can be dropped into your pond and later removed / topped up without mess.

Barley breaks down within the pond water and the natural friendly bacteria and chemicals released as the Barley rots help to balance the ponds eco-system, removing algae growth and clearing the water. Friendly to fish, plants and all pond wildlife. 

The Barley Pellets benefits will remain for 3-4 months before re-treatment is required. 100g treats up to 1000ltrs depending on water regularity of water displacement / replacement.

The net should be placed near moving water, within a filter or close to a pump / fountain. The pellets will initially swell as they absorb moisture and begin to break down.
