This vintage glass dish is a beautiful addition to any collection. With an abstract design and an Art Deco style, this oblong dish was created using the pressed glassmaking technique in 1890. The dish has one compartment and a capacity of approximately 3 cups. It can be used as a candy or snack dish, or as a holder for a gravy ladle.
The clear glass has a glossy finish and is in its original, unmarked condition, making it a unique and valuable antique. The dish is approximately 8.25 inches in length and 4 inches in width. Its timeless design and American theme make it a perfect piece for display or functional use.
This beautiful piece has no flaws whatsoever. I had an antique dealer look at it, and my description of this item is from his perspective. He said its late 1800’s, pressed glass, and for that time period it would have been used as a gravy ladle holder. I also added in candy/snack dish, as it could be utilized for that purpose as well.
