Never used, Nikon Nikonos V underwater camera with Nikon W-Nikkor 35mm f/2.5 prime lens.

Both the lens and camera are unused, are fully functional.  There isn't a factory box. Instruction manual for the camera, a spare  O-ring kit and a tube Nikonos grease. The only thing missing is the strap.
Also included is probably the definite book for its time on the use of the Nikonos by Jim and Cathy Church

The Nikonos V was produced by Nikon from 1984 to 2001, serving as the final and most successful manual-focus underwater camera in the long-running Nikonos series. Known for its extreme durability, it offered TTL flash metering and automatic, aperture-priority exposure, remaining popular for nearly two decades before being replaced by autofocus technology. This camera offers a massive and bright viewfinder for easy framing, automatic light metering with a through-the-lens meter, as well as automatic and manual exposure modes. The Nikonos V is frequently cited as the premier choice for underwater film photography from the 1960s to the 1980s.

  • The camera was designed for, and could operate at, depths of 50 meters (roughly 160 feet). It was built with a durable alloy of aluminum, copper, and silicone, making it popular for both underwater use and as a rugged, all-weather camera on land.
  • It featured aperture priority and manual exposure control, with shutter speeds of 1/30 to 1/1000, along with a mechanical speed of 1/90 for when the battery fails. It was designed with large dials for easy operation with gloved hands.
  • Five interchangeable lenses were available, ranging from the 35mm and 80mm (usable on land) to sub-surface lenses like the 28mm and Fish-Eye lens. It also utilizes accessories including submersible flashes (SB 101-105), close up kits, extensions tubes, optical view finders etc.
