Bawzprops Dredd Regular sized Urban Hero Helmet 

This is a fully complete, hand-made to order helmet from the Dredd 2012 movie Starring Karl Urban. The base helmet is produced in cold cast PU resin (aluminium & Brass metal powders) with quad axle fibreglass mat (extremely strong), the visor is a motorcycle type bolted in place and the lining is a super comfortable design intended to be worn for hours. 

The paint scheme is been developed to match screen used examples and background information of the helmets worn in the film. The weathering seen is actual damage that was added to the hero prop which was present in the mould when cast and has been faithfully restored in this version to match the hero. *Some additional damage/weathering was added in later SA made helmets that do not exist in this early UK version*.

This will fit up to a 25-26” head given that is an early generation casting so has retained most of the original size of the UK master helmets. The upper helmet lining is fully adjustable to suit most fitting.

Background
In 2016 I purchased the original South African production moulds from DNA films through The Propstore of London. The mould this helmet is cast from is an original master take off the larger hero Karl Urban lid produced in the UK and seen worn through much of the film. This version/master being that all other judge helmets in the film were based on. A smaller ‘Urban Special’ cut-down version with different damage was worn through the later part of the film, which is another version we offer and will be available in the future.
