The Ferraz Shawmut US6J3 is a Three (3)-pole UltraSafe™ modular fuse holder in the US6J series, designed for 60 A Class J fuses. This part is also cross-referenced as Mersen US6J3, as Ferraz Shawmut products are now marketed under the Mersen brand. Refer to manufacturer documentation to confirm compatibility with your specific application.

The US6J3 is rated for 60 Amperes at 600 VAC/600 VDC and accepts Class J fuses with a 58 mm fuse length and 22 mm fuse diameter. It uses a pressure plate connector type and accommodates wire ranging from #14 to #2 AWG (solid or stranded copper). This is the non-indicator version; the US6J3I is the equivalent model with a per-pole blown-fuse indicator. Terminal screws are Phillips/slot head with a suggested torque of 45 in-lbs for the 60 A configuration.

The US6J3 snap-mounts to a 35 mm DIN rail via a unique latch mechanism that stays open to allow future repositioning of the holder. All units include provisions for locking in the open position for safety during fuse changeouts or equipment servicing. Multi-pole assemblies of up to six poles can be built in the field using the US6J3PAK (3-pole) or US6J4PAK (4-pole) assembly kits, or with the US6JPAK pin-tie kit.
