📖 About the story: The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies was first published in 1909 — a sequel to both The Tale of Peter Rabbit and The Tale of Benjamin Bunny. Flopsy is Peter Rabbit's sister and Benjamin Bunny's wife. In the story, their six children raid Mr McGregor's rubbish heap, gorge on overripe lettuces, and fall fast asleep — only to be scooped up by Mr McGregor and bundled into a sack.
