Here is a scarce newspaper from the famous mining own of Bodie, California. This is not a reprint it is old and original. It is yellow with age.

The newspaper is the DAILY BODIE JOURNAL dated January 12, 1880. It is four pages total printed front and back. Lots of local ads and news tidbits.

Bodie was founded in 1859 in Mono county and produced about 3 million ounces of gold up to 1946. It is now a state park.

The paper was printed on newsprint so it is a bit delicate with edge loss and the folded edge is worn through. There are two 4" tears and a 2" tear on the left side. There is a 3" tear on the right.

Even though it is in worn shape it would still look great in a frame.

Fourteen day return privilege guaranteed for money back. Buyer pays postage.
