The 2017 series expanded the collection with four new characters — Tom Kitten, Benjamin Bunny, Mr Jeremy Fisher and Peter Rabbit in a new running pose — completing a set that covered the most beloved characters from Beatrix Potter's entire body of work. 🐰 About Benjamin Bunny: Benjamin Bunny first appeared in The Tale of Benjamin Bunny in 1904. Benjamin is Peter Rabbit's cousin — braver in some ways, more cautious in others — who leads Peter back into Mr McGregor's garden to retrieve the clothes Peter lost in The Tale of Peter Rabbit. His tam-o'-shanter hat and red bow are as iconic as Peter's blue jacket.

🐸 About Mr Jeremy Fisher: Mr Jeremy Fisher first appeared in The Tale of Mr Jeremy Fisher in 1906. Jeremy is a frog who lives in a little damp house amongst the buttercups at the edge of a pond. He puts on his macintosh and galoshes, takes his rod and basket, and sets off in his punt to fish for minnows — only to end up nearly eaten by a trout and saved only by the taste of his macintosh. He is the most gentlemanly and distinguished of all Beatrix Potter's characters.

🐱 About Tom Kitten: Tom Kitten first appeared in The Tale of Tom Kitten in 1907. Tom is the naughty kitten son of Tabitha Twitchit who loses his smart clothes on the way up the garden wall before his mother's guests arrive. He later reappears in The Tale of Samuel Whiskers as the kitten who gets rolled up in a roly-poly pudding by two rats. Tom Kitten is one of Beatrix Potter's most beloved and frequently revisited characters.

📖 About Beatrix Potter: Helen Beatrix Potter was born in London in 1866. She created Peter Rabbit and his world in a series of illustrated children's books beginning with The Tale of Peter Rabbit in 1902 — originally self-published after six publishers rejected it. The book sold 28,000 copies in its first year and has never been out of print in over 120 years. She died in 1943 having donated 4,000 acres of Lake District farmland to the National Trust.
