Both recorders play very well throughout their range; tone quality and intonation are generally consistent as far as I can discern.

The pitch for both instruments appears to sit in the 425-430hz range, so these are probably best used as a consort instruments (or together as a duet), rather than mixed with other modern instruments. They both can be pushed up close to 440hz by overblowing, though this is generally an undesirable approach.

The only very minor physical defect I could find on is a little bit of scratching on the top of either mouthpiece.

For the Heinrich, I will include a carrying bag, branding is mismatched, since the recorder was previously bag-less. Hope that's okay.

The Alpine comes with its original blue box and a small cleaning brush.

Thanks for looking!
