The Meinl Sonic Energy Tingsha corresponds to the classic Tibetan cymbal. This instrument consists of two metal plates at each end of a string. To produce the bell sound, all you need to do is gently strike the cymbals against each other. The special feature of this instrument lies in the interval between the two cymbals. This interval is an octave higher than our brain's alpha state. When we hear the sounds that each cymbal divides by its overtones and hear the jump between them, it is easier to enter a meditative state. Tingshas are also used to clear blockages in a person's vibrational field as well as in an environment.
