A SUPER RARE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN PERIOD DOMED TOP EMPTY STICK PIN BOX - C1850’S

AMAZING ORIGINAL CONDITION & VERY COLLECTIBLE!

This sale is to purchase a really very rare empty red leather presentation box ready for the storage of a stick pin. This item dates from C1850’s and is very collectible. This particular box has a domed top and can accommodate a stick pin with a larger finial.

The box was presented by regional jewelers E.H. Bright of Leamington, England.

This box is of a wooden construction, with a dark red leather type finish to the exterior, a black fitted pad and an inscribed satin interior. It is fitted with a simple hook and eye clasp. The place holder for the pin is complete and in good order.

The box: measures 4.75’’ in length and is  2.0’’ wide. The box is 1.0’’’ high when closed. The place holder can accommodate a stick pin of approximately 3.80’’ in length.

Condition: This item is in antique condition 2/3 and shows only minor age related scuffing wear to the exterior and an aged repair to the lid at the hinge. The  interior pad is in good order. The interior satin is excellent but is faded. The hinge and clasp works well.  Please see photos? All of our items are professionally cleaned and is ready to use.
