I designed this tool mainly for the bathtub faucets that have deep recesses! If you have replaced the seats and springs for bathtub faucets before then you know how frustrating it can be. This tool will help retain the parts while you insert them and hold them in place while you strip the seat of of the retaining post!

Easy installation! Insert Seat first then the Spring - small end first - onto the tool. Use tool to insert the Seat and Spring into the faucet by gently pushing the pair into the recess. (see the first image) NEXT while holding and keeping the blue part against the seat pull the inner white portion out to strip the seat off of the holding post.
