Vintage PanaVise multi-angle ball-and-socket vise. Manufactured by Colbert Die

Cast Co., South Gate, California, USA. Patent No. 2898068 cast into the base

ring. Complete assembly includes: weighted base, ball-and-socket vise head with

knurled locking knob, articulating arm with table clamp attachment, and

adjustable height rod. Cream/ivory nylon thumb knobs included.

Ball joint rotates smoothly and locks securely. Rubber base pad is present but

has hardened with age and no longer grips surfaces — base slides on smooth

desktops. Easy fix: apply self-adhesive rubber feet or place a rubber mat

underneath. No cracks, repairs, or missing hardware. All metal components

intact and fully functional. Surface wear and patina consistent with age.
