RARE authentic player's minor league baseball team jacket. Not a wanna-be but the real deal for the SCRANTON/WILKES BARRE RED BARONS, a former AAA minor league team affiliated with the Philadelphia Phillies but now called the Rail Riders, triple A team affiliated with the New York Yankees.. MLB big boys like Shane Victorino, Lenny Dykstra, Jose Cabrera, Kevin Elster, Dave Hollins and Curt Schilling, just to name a few, passed through the dugout, all wearing this same exact team jacket, if not this very jacket. Quality gear from DeLong with heavy maroon flight satin/nylon shell with warm gray quilt lining. This was an AUTHENTIC PLAYER'S TEAM JACKET, possibly belonging to one of the boys aforementioned! Team letters cleverly woven on the upper left chest in script. Excellent condition with no holes, tears, seam issues, rips or weird smells. You can't buy this in any store! This authentic team jacket is a size LARGE. Warm and stylish in the true button-up team jacket tradition of baseball, not like the silly pull-overs and sissy lightweight 'souvenir' stuff MLB is promoting these days. The pictures tell it all! This is the one! Stored in plastic in a pet/smoke-free home in the beautiful dry climate of Eastern Washington. From pit to pit this incredible find measures 26", from shoulder seam to tip of cuff it measures 26" and from top of collar to the bottom snap this bad boy measures 29". (Measurements are not exact, but darn close) A RARE collectible. Quality throughout and a great piece of baseball history!
