The Mummy's Curse / Famous Monsters Series / Original Oil Painting / Presented in a Beveled Picture Mount.

 I was never the biggest fan of Universal's The Mummy, so I never bothered watching the sequels. However, ViaVision brought out The Mummy Collection with great commentary tracks and I really enjoyed them. The highlight was the scene in The Mummy's Curse where the mummified Ananka (Virginia Christine) drags herself out of a dried up swamp bed. Seriously, this has to be one of the most chilling segments ever, and I immediately got the urge to paint it.  So I did!

The Mummy's Curse has been created on heavy, canvas textured oil paper  and measures 11 3/4" x 8 1/4" (30cm X 20cm).  The mount measures 16" x 12" ( 40cm x 30cm).  This painting  will be posted in a stout box along with a free print and a Certificate Of Authenticity.
