The 1972 Porsche 911T is a highly sought-after, 2.4-liter flat-six "Touring" model (130-140 HP) known as the only year with the "oil clapper" external oil filler door, designed to improve handling by moving weight forward.


This particular car is overall in very presentable condition. The factory Blue Metallic exterior is in excellent shape! The paint is very shiny and every panel matches 100%! All the rubber moldings are fresh and the chrome pieces are in great shape as well. A walk around video of the exterior is available upon request. 


The interior is highlighted by Recaro Sport seats, which are in excellent shape! A nearly identical set of Recaro Sport seats sold on Bring A Trailer for $11,500! 


The car mechanically appears to be in good shape. It takes about 20 seconds or so to warm up the engine and achieve a steady idle. The clutch feels really good and the 915 transmission shifting action is spot on. The brakes are solid and the car stops on demand. The underside is rust free. 


An oil and filter change was completed prior to the sale.


This 911T was a part of an estate sale and unfortunately did not come with any history.

This is a 911T. The rear badge (911S) is incorrect. 


The car is not fitted with windshield wipers or the wiper system.
