Welcome to our auction for 40 Circulated Silver Washington Quarters. It's obviously difficult to tell how much wear is in coins, so we weighed them at 244 grams, as seen in the photos above. As a point of reference a silver quarter weighs about 6.25 grams, so 40 of them should weigh 250 grams in mint condition. As you can tell there is a 6 gram difference, hopefully this helps you assess how much value they have to you as most people are buying lots like this for the bulk silver weight value. As you can see in the photos these coins have been circulated and range in condition. They all have dates and the fronts are comparable to the reverse sides in condition as seen in the photos. The coins are 90% Silver and 10% Copper. The obverse image is of George Washington, the first president of the United States, and was designed by John Flanagan. The reverse image is the presidential coat of arms. This design was used from 1932-1964. It's certainly one of the most iconic coins in the history of the U.S. Mint. Please look at the photos to determine the condition of the coins for yourself. The coins you see are the coins that will be shipped to you! The coins will be shipped in the plastic containers viewed in the photos, and will be carefully packaged and shipped. Thanks and good luck with your auctions!
