The engine is in good working condition - there's no knock or excess valvetrain noise. The timing belt, tensioner and water pump were all recently replaced - along with other serviceable items like camshaft seals and other gaskets.

Drivetrain's solid overall—transaxle and torque tube pulled, inspected, and both check out clean.

Clutch discs still have decent life left. Shifting feels good right now, but these 928s are notorious for getting notchy/rough over time due to the intermediate plate going out of whack.

If it starts feeling hard to shift in the future, it's a quick 30-minute intermediate plate adjustment—no big drama, common maintenance item on these cars.

The car has been garaged for the past 20 years. There is some rust (mostly around the rear windows), as shown in the photos. The car has had no major accidents and you can tell by how straight the body is. The front and rear bumpers do have cracks in them, and the hood and roof of the car have peeling clearcoat.

The interior is in great shape compared to other 928's - the upholstery on the seats is well preserved with no tears, staining, or other defects. The carpet is in good shape as well. The leather headliner is warped, but in-tact. Door cards are in-tact and in good shape. Sunroof controls work - windows work. Pop-up headlights work. Parking brake works but the button can stick from time to time. The odometer was intermittent but is working for now. The backlights on the dashboard don't work. Climate controls work, as well as speakers.

The car is a real head turner - be prepared for people to approach you and ask about it".
