A rare and meaningful Thai sacred statue of Luang Phor Kuai (LP Kuay), the highly revered monk of Wat Kositaram, Chainat Province, known among collectors for his powerful amulets and sacred objects.
This statue dates to around B.E.2510 (1967) and is cast in blackened bronze with gold gilding, a traditional Thai technique where the metal surface is darkened and partially covered with gold leaf, giving the piece a beautiful contrast and aged sacred appearance.
