For sale is this Xircom ’RealPort 2’ 10/100 CardBus Ethernet Adapter.

Card is in good condition, it has been tested and is fully functional on our Dell Latitude C810 running Windows 98SE and XP. This particular model is automatically detected by Windows XP and above and does not require any additional drivers when using Windows XP and above.

A Driver CD is included however for Windows 3.11-Win2k, OS/2, DOS packet driver and MS LanManager. Please note that this is not an original CD, we have burnt it and then printed the disc to make it look nice with our CD printer.. just for fun!

This Xircom card is a 32-Bit CardBus. This is not backwards compatible with PCMCIA only slots. Supports 10/100 ethernet and features an integrated RJ45 socket allowing you to use this card buy directly plugging in an ethernet cable. No dongles are required. This will work with 10/100/1000 hubs and switches.

The RealPort2 Ethernet could be paired with a Realport2 ISDN/Modem card which would go in the alternate CardBus bay, each card would 'mate' so that they could both be in the respective bays and you could use both devices, a pretty neat little feature.
