2 Vtg Taffeta Slips Beige Novelty Patch & Black Lace Union Made 50s 60s Pinup USED 1437

Two piece set of vintage half-slips both with a taffeta like sound: one black Wonder Maid half-slip with a wide scalloped lace hem and back slit and one Saks Fifth Avenue beige/nude half-slip featuring front satin diamond like shaped insets and lace-trimmed side slits.

Item: Two half-slips; black slip has elastic waistband and scalloped lace hem; beige slip has elastic waistband, satin diamond accents, and lace side slits.

Color and pattern: Solid black and solid beige/nude with satin diamond insets. Multicolor listing (2 pack).

Material: Per interior tags - Black slip is 50% Nylon / 50% Dacron Polyester; Beige slip no material information; lightweight construction (see photos).

Features: Elastic waistbands, scalloped lace hem, lace trimmed side slits, satin inset accents.

Labels and branding: Interior tag reads "Wonder Maid Fine Lingerie"; ILGWU union label and style tag "STYLE 4505 SS" with size marked "P" and fiber content printed. Beige slip shows a small retail tag reading "Saks Fifth Avenue" (see photos). Beige slip does not have a manufacturer tag indicating country of origin - unconfirmed.

Maximum waist stretch for black slip is approximately 28" and beige slip approximately 30". Light puckering at satin insets and light storage creasing and surface wrinkles; a few loose threads at lace edges. Slight fraying at beige side slit.
