I worked for Revell/Monogram from 1988 until 2010 as a Box art builder where I built many many  BOX ART models, catalog models and display models. I was responsible to build these shots and make them look presentable for the upcoming photo sessions and various trade shows that the models would be displayed at. These built up TEST SHOTS were shown to the many buyers for various retailers to place orders and for the general public to view the new releases. Many of these TEST SHOTS lacked engraving and final details or details that might be revised and not on the final product. Also many were molded in various colors which makes them highly collectible.

 Up for sale is a 1/25 REVELL MONOGRAM PRE-PRODUCTION TEST SHOT 1964 FORD 427 THUNDERBOLT FAIRLANE that is molded in GRAY plastic. These test shots may be missing parts because they were used to create the Box art model for the upcoming new release so please be aware of this.

Impress your modeling club members and acquaintances by building these (non painted is best) or just displaying them to see if you can pick out any missing details or engraving.
