This is an authentic EAMES for Herman Miller soft pad, executive height, office chair from the aluminum group collection. The executive highchair features a taller, backrest, original black leather upholstery, polished aluminum five star swivel base, armrests and black rolling casters. The comfortable contour, ergonomic design features thick, plush cushions and a 360° smooth swivel seat with manual lift adjustable height and back rest tilt. This classic mid-century modern office chair was first introduced in 1969 by Charles and Ray Eames as the luxury model of the 1958 aluminum group line. This particular chair has been well taken care of, but used daily in an office environment and has the wear and scuff marks to prove it. There are no noticeable tears, rips or areas that are worn through just well worn leather that still has a nice luster and various minor scratches and scuffs on the metal parts, such as armrests and base of the chair.
