This mask is from the household of my French ancestors from their time on the Ivory Coast during early French Colonial occupation. This is anecdotal; I do not have any documentation. The stainless steel eye hook was added about 15 years ago so it could be hung from the wall.
Please look carefully at the photos for condition. There is a crack on the bottom half, visible both in the front and the back. I lightened the photographs a bit so that the details are more visible. The mask is dark as shown in the two last photos.
