Bed Exit Alarm for Elderly Fall Prevention. This an open box demo sample, and was never used with a patient. Stored in a commercial non-residential area.
Help prevent falls before they happen. This bed alarm monitors elderly and dementia patients and alerts caregivers immediately when a person begins to get out of bed. A soft, pressure-sensitive pad is discreetly placed under the fitted sheet, beneath the hips or shoulder blades, to detect movement and trigger the in-room alarm the moment weight is lifted off the pad.
Receive Early Alerts Before They Get Up
Falls are a serious concern, and when preventing them every second counts. To receive an early alert before your loved one is fully out of bed, you can change the location of the pad on the mattress. Position the pad under your loved one's shoulder blades to receive an early alert when they start to sit up. Alternatively, position the pad under the hips and a few inches from the edge of the bed to receive an alert when they are sitting on the edge of the bed and about to stand up.
