A Dziggtai - the Wild Horse of Tibet
Original hand-coloured engraving for "A History of the Earth and Animated Nature" by Oliver Goldsmith (1730-1774), published between 1848 and 1852 by A. Fullarton & Company of Edinburgh and London. It was made by steel plate engraving and has original colouring, well executed and using a beautiful range of colours.
There may be a few faint specks of foxing: any defects should be visible in the photograph. Perfect for framing.
