A Survey of Southern New England. Boston: Bullard Co., 1916. Map is 23 x 35 inches surrounded by inset maps of cities and illustrated ads on a sheet 38 x 50 inches, uncolored. Folds into its original printed envelope with a price of 50 cents (the equivalent of $15 today). Verso with maps of Boston and more ads. The maps are mostly of Massachusetts towns and features roads and also shipping information. OCLC shows no record of this map and only a single copy of a much smaller 1914 version. The high initial cost and its awkward to handle very large size likely contribute to its scarcity. Map is very good with a few corner fold archival tape repairs, one with very slight loss. The original envelope is torn and tattered along the edges.
