A US postage stamp issued in 1978.  The stamp was issued with an "A" instead of a monetary denomination in anticipation of a USPS rate increase, and was worth 15 cents in postage.  Stamp is mint, never hinged, original gum.  Scott #1735 (Perforated 11).
