Antique 1880s Johnston Harvester Cast Iron Tractor Seat,
Wonderful find, this Johnston Harvester Cast Iron Tractor Seat. This is not actually a tractor seat, although it is the same size. It is from a horse-drawn Harvester made by the Johnston Harvester Company, Batavia, New York.
This is an original tractor seat, not a reproduction.
It will make a wonderful outdoor or barstool seat

History,
The Johnston Harvester Company was a prominent 19th-century agricultural manufacturer founded in Brockport, New York, around 1850, and later moved to Batavia, New York, in 1882. Known for its advanced self-raking reapers and mowers, it was a staple of the north wheat belt before being acquired by Massey-Harris in 1910. (Wikipedia)
