(#1440 set 1)   Timeless elegance describes the Red Vine Pattern of this vintage English Staffordshire Sterling Vine Ironstone. It features genuine Hand-Engraving with permanent colors made by J. & G. Meakin in England. This lot is one of two that I have for an oval serving platter and a round vegetable/serving bowl. Both have scalloped edges and both are in excellent condition considering the age of the pieces. There is some crazing on the platter underneath the glaze. The bowl has some kind of ink scuff mark on the bottom/outside. It wouldn't come off when I cleaned the dishes and it may be underneath the glaze. They both have a glossy glazed finish and ink-stamped maker's mark. See pictures for exact condition of the pieces.
Platter is 12-1/4 by 9-1/2 inches. The serving bowl is 8-1/4 inches in diameter.

-Combined shipping available. Message me to hold items with different ending times.
-I will leave buyers positive feedback after tracking shows the item as delivered as long as payment was received promptly.
-I source mainly from reputable local auctions/sites and estate sales. Some items I know a lot about; some I know little. I spend a lot of time researching every item to determine fair value. I'm not a power seller and never will be. I sell on eBay to supplement my "real" job so it's not often you'll see any of my auctions starting at $.99c.
- I do NOT accept returns or exchanges unless I fail to declare a Major flaw in the description. eBay has policies in place to protect buyers from unscrupulous sellers. I protect myself from unscrupulous buyers.
- If your item's purchase price is more than $50, consider requesting additional transit insurance to cover lost, stolen or damaged items during shipping.
- If an item is damaged in shipping you agree to keep the item, box and packing materials until the claim is processed and to take any necessary pictures to file with the carrier.
- I take great care in packaging items correctly and shipping on time. Unfortunately, I can do nothing about postal delays or anything that occurs to the item during delivery or after. I make this statement because of receiving negative feedback from a buyer because their item was stolen from their address after delivery! Please look at my feedback and read it for yourself -- You just can't make this stuff up.
-I recycle - not only saleable items but also mailing materials; thus, your item may be packed in previously used boxes and/or wrapped with previously used materials. Pass these along or recycle them yourself if you can please.
