Clock is working when you put pressure on the winding spring barrel assembly. It is missing the click that holds the ratchet wheel in place after winding. Shown is the ratchet wheel apart from the barrel assembly near the 1/2 circle spring called the click spring. The click is a small piece that is held in place by a screw. You can see the whole where that screw goes in near the click spring. I opened
up the barrel and greased the winding spring.
*According to the Chelsea website, this is Pre WW1 if serial number on front is used. Serial number on back would date it 1950-54. Perhaps when it was refurbished in 1964 they put a different back plate on. Buyer must make their own determination according to Chelsea's own chart. Not a clue on the value.
