Six elegant, timeless, vintage Candlewick glass dinner plates featuring tiny glass beads around each rim in the larger 10.5-inch size are available as a set. Made by the Imperial Glass Company of Bellaire, Ohio, between August 1936 until the company closed in 1984, the candlewicking pattern was Imperial's most sought-after pattern. This pattern was inspired by Colonial-style needleworking called “candlewicking" in which cotton wicks normally used for candle making were twisted to create balls like a French knot. Collectors praise the glassware's high quality, timeless design and wide variety of pieces as well as its nostalgic charm.
These plates could be used as chargers or as serving platters and can mix well with many other china patterns. Each plate has a different weight including 1 pound 10.1 ounces, 1 pound 9.6 ounces, 1 pound 9.5 ounces, 1 pound 9.3 ounces, 1 pound 8.8 ounces and 1 pound 8.3 ounces. Together, they weigh 9 pounds 6.5 ounces without packaging.
The seller thoroughly discloses the condition and usability of all items sold. These plates are in good condition and free from any chips or cracks around the perimeters but do have fine knife scratches on the center of the surface tops (see last photo), common from normal use. These marks are not readily visible when the plate is lying flat on a tablecloth.
Due to the price being more than $100, a $5 charge was added to the plates' price to cover the additional shipping insurance that will be purchased to cover any damages during shipping.

USPS, for example of how most shipping companies manage claims, says: If a claim is filed because some or all of the contents are missing or damaged, the addressees must retain the mailing container, including any damaged articles, all packaging and any contents receipted. Upon written request by the USPS, the addressee must make this proof available to the local post office for inspection, retention and disposition in accordance with the claims decision. Failure to do so will result in denial of the claim."
The seller photographs all aspects of the item being shipped to aid in any insurance claims.
