Very nicely made antique pine sailors ditty box stamped M.A.S on the front side.

Has a small compartment inside on the left hand side and has brass hinges and brass lock.

Measures 8 1/4inch long by 5 1/2inch wide by 4 3/4inch high.

Dates probably early 20th century but could easy be late 19th century.

This came out of a old house clearance in the Shetland islands, far north of Scotland, Shetland has had a strong connection to sailing and known as a sea faring place.

It has general age wear that you would expect but no damage or any worm. Also NO key for lock.

Postage and packing - £6.95.

Good luck.
