I have for sale a fantastic vintage decorative square ceramic trinket dish.

I'm not sure of the maker, the mark "Made in England B" is printed on the base. Also hand written on the base in red ink/paint is "Anne Stubbs Bacup 1950".

I have two of these lovely dishes, both very slightly different, so they must be hand-painted.

I assume that Anne Stubbs is the painter, but despite extensive research, I can't find any mention of this very talented artist.

Small size. Measures approx 7.5cm x 7.5cm x 1.5cm deep/tall

The base of the dish has a really pretty wildflower design. The sloping edges are gilded with a gold scribble/snail trail design.

There are a couple of very small firing faults (see close-up photos) but there are no chips, cracks or crazing.
