A very large late Victorian faux bois picture frame with a black Ebonised outer trim.

The tiger stripe faux wood is very striking against the black lacquered edges.

The base of the frame is wood.

Overall the frame is in good condition for age. I can’t see any cracks to the faux wood finish but there is loss of colour to the black ebonised edges showing the original wood underneath.

There has been wear and tear to the sides as shown in the pictures.

It has been given a wipe over with a dry cloth to preserve the lacquered finish.

The overall size of the frame is approximately 34 x 19 inch
