Duratron Vibration Massage Motor (Jakel J238-050-5059 17-00P) for Adjustable Massage Beds

Tested - working and clean with no blemishes. Removed from working Orthomatic model A1002 adjustable bed. Enclosure opened and motor removed for photos only (since there is no branding on the enclosure). Re-tested - working after re-assembly.

This vibration massage motor was removed from an Orthomatic adjustable massage bed utilizing Duratron electronics. The actual motor is a Jakel model J238-050-5059  17-00P. It is rated at 120VAC, 60Hz, .41A, 3000 RPM and capable of variable speed. This motor (with enclosure) is used in a variety of older adjustable massage beds such as Craftmatic and Leggett & Platt. The connector style (shown in last photo) may be different, but as long as the enclosure style, voltage, amperage and RPM ratings are the same it is compatible but will require a different connector spliced on. Cord length is approx 39".
