Description
An small early 19th century, American food chopper, probably from New England, with a demi-lune shaped blade 3 1/4" wide. Its 4 3/4" wide at the white oak grip, and 5 1/2" tall. It is blacksmith-made, with an inlaid edge. The carbon steel blade tapers on both sides toward the edge. The name J. OONE is stamped on one side of the shaft between the blade and the grip. There are no notable condition issues. The sharp, carbon steel blade is very lightly stained, and there is some light surface rust at the center of the edge on one side.

Shipping
Shipping charges are for shipping only. There is no handling fee. In most cases USPS will be chosen. All fragile items will be double boxed, which, in the case of larger items, might result in the shipper charging a fee for an oversized package. Books will be sent Media rate in the US, unless otherwise requested.
