New custom TD05H billet 20G turbocharger built as a direct-fit upgrade for EJ-powered Subarus which use the hose-style compressor outlet (2002-2007 WRX; 2004-2021 WRX STi models). This turbo is built using the same size rotor group and the identical compressor wheel found in the Cobb TD05H-20G-8, Tomioka Racing TD05-20G, and Boost Lab TD05H 20G at less than half the price.

The entire CHRA and compressor cover are new; the turbine housing is used but has been fully media-blasted and coated black. The 20G is a TD06-class turbocharger, although this unit uses a smaller TD05H turbine for better response which has been clipped 18 degrees to aid reducing backpressure to better-support the oversized compressor at high pressure ratios without sacrificing response or durability. Compressor specs are 52.5/68mm (73mm extended-tip), turbine is 56/49mm and the turbo is capable of roughly 47 lb/min of peak airflow. The turbo is externally-gated so you'll need to take into consideration you'll need a pre-turbine external gate setup. Turbine housing is coated, and the turbine inlet is ported.

This unit is built using only top-quality parts...the compressor wheel alone costs more than a complete China 20G making it the perfect option for someone building an EJ platform Subaru looking for a true 20G which spools well but still has strong top-end thanks to the turbine clip and porting. Pair it with an external gate for elite boost control along with proper tuning and you can expect 350-400 wheel horsepower on pump gas and up to 470 on ethanol. You will receive exactly what you see in the photos- the complete turbocharger, oil drain flange, and a 4AN feed line adapter. No coolant lines are included, although you can acquire a TD05H install kit fairly inexpensively right here on eBay. MHI recommends a maximum inlet oil pressure of 48psi and should see no less than 20psi under load, and oil drain flange should face straight downward with no more than 10 degrees of angle to the bearing housing...any deviation from these oiling requirements may result in a failure for which I will not accept responsibility. Professional installation is required.
