This * Γ countermark is only known on the coinage of Gallienus's sole reign from Ephesos. The fact that it appears on a coin struck 100+ years earlier is very interesting and makes for a great story. Showing that this coin either circulated for over 100 years or that it reentered circulation after a significant break.
