The typewriter in the photos is the one that you'll recieve. As you can see it's in excellent cosmetic condition but there are a few issues with this so im selling this as spares or repair

Very rare Silver Reed SR22 portable typewriter. Made in Korea in the early 1980's. This comes in the stunning pistachio green. Shame it doesn't work properly but would make an eye catching display item!

Condition

This is the important part!

Cosmetically, it's very good all keys are present. The carriage moves one space every type you type so mechanically it appears to be fine. But - some of the keys on the right hand side stick. I think this is more than a simple oiling problem and it would need to be professionally serviced by an expert. Please do not buy this unless you are only going to use it as a display item - no returns accepted.

I was actually going to "have a go" and try to do this myself but then I remembered I'm not an engineer and would most likely end up doing more harm than good!

Trending price for a fully tested, fully functional one of these is between £50 - £70. This one is obviously far from perfect and will need some work to make it pristine so I'm only asking £25 (+ shipping). If you're a tinkerer or just looking for a display item this is a very good, cheap alternative.

As mentioned above, it's being sold as a non operational unit. The price is so low its not worth messing about with returns so sold as seen. No returns in this item! (Sorry!)

Also - the handle on the case is broken - ive reattach it with some rope
