I don't know much about this vase it was my mother in laws & its been sat on display. It doesn't look like it has been used but does have scratches on the bottom. I certainly haven't used it & I have had it 20 years
A few years ago I looked it up on ebay & someone sold one exactly the same & I kept the write up.

They said.......lavishly encased glass base, Unsigned but beautiful, original & heavy piece of retro Scandinavian glass. Early 1970's.
Riihimaki-Riihimaen Lasi Finland designed by Nanny Still or Tamara Aladin, lovely piece of blue coloured glass. No chips or flaking....

Please feel free to tell me different but looking at Riihimaki finland it certainly looks like it...
