I tried this out myself using cotton fabric and it still sews!

Requires 4 size D batteries, not included. Includes everything pictured. The table clamp is broken but still sews OK without it. I went ahead and removed the table clamp lever and the spring from the machine to keep it from falling into the machine, but have included them both in case somebody wants to try to fix it.
