Tested with my personal 8qt instant pot lid/gasket/vent and water, and it comes up to pressure with no problems. This was purchased as a spare because I needed an extra lid, so moving the base on.

I cannot guarantee that this will work with any other size or brand of lid!

There is cosmetic wear and tear as shown:

-some denting to metal surround

-scuffing to plastic components

- wear to rim where lid locks in

- tiny heat mark on cord (does not reveal wires or affect usage!)

-cord needs a good clean
