This mandolin has exceptional volume and sustain. It boasts the legendary tonal range of Brazilian rosewood with exceptional balance and great clarity. This vibrant response of this mandolin can be felt as you play it. Truly a unique instrument with incredible voice and tonal range.
The mandolin plays nicely with good action height across the fretboard. No buzzing, dead spots or harsh overtones. There is plenty of room for future adjustments at the bridge if ever necessary. The mandolin has just been professionally setup, lightly cleaned and restrung with GHS Ultra light strings. There is a small crack in the thin edge of the heal volute (pictures #11 & 12). This is present in 99% of all bowl back mandolins as the material here is paper thin and is not a structural issue. Please view the pictures for a full description.
This mandolin comes with the original case which is in rough condition. The mandolin has been exceptionally well cared for and is in remarkable condition with little imperfection besides honest player wear. Please view the pictures for a full aesthetic description of the mandolin and case.
