A stunning large porcelain figurine of a resting giraffe by Lomonosov. It features delicate brown details on an orange base with white legs and belly. The neck is elegantly looking down as if he is getting ready to sleep or has just been woken up. One black hoofed food sticks out whilst the rest are tucked underneath him. The base is marked with the red Lomonosov "Made in USSR" indicating that he is first quality. An adorable figure, full of grace an elegance, he is a great example of the high quality craftmanship expected from Lomonosov. A perfect gift either to yourself or the safari lover in your life!

This is a vintage item and so may show signs of its previous life. The giraffe is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The base shows signs of wear including the Lomonosov mark. Please see photos for details.
