Prolific British-Russian artist and engraver.
Studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts in St Parkersburg and then the Ecole-des-Beaux Arts institute in Paris.
Moved to London in 1906 where he was a founder of the British Etching revival.
Specialised in Drypoint and Aquatint.
Famous for his cityscapes of London, New York and Venice.
Produced many pieces and noted for The London Set 1924 and Arteries of Great Britain 1922 amongst many others.
