These Barley Pellets are a great alternative to traditional barley straw for your pond. The pellets are contained within a micro-mesh banded bag, which can be dropped into your pond and later removed / topped up without mess.

Barley breaks down within the pond and the chemicals released as the Barley rots help to balance the ponds eco-system, removing algae and clearing water.

The Barley Pellets benefits will remain for 3-4 months before re-treatment is required. 100g treats up to 1000ltrs.

The bag should be placed near moving water, within a filter or close to a pump / fountain.
