These Bacteria Balls contain helpful bacteria to nourish the pond or tank and kick-start the eco-system. The balls are bio-degrable and as they deteriorate into the pond water, will release beneficial bacteria and enzymes, which are designed to help with sludge removal and water clarity. The bacteria is released and forms colonies which remain in your pond long-term, as a permanent biological balancer for your pond, removing ammonia and nitrates build-up. 200g will treat up to 2000ltrs. 

Ideally used alongside Alfagrog, Pumice Stone or other similar media to allow the bacteria to colonise.

Can be used in filters or directly into pond water. Completely non-toxic to fish and pond plants. Best placed in an an area which has moving water for maximum effectiveness.
